Who we are

Camping Los Gallardos, Miraflores, Los Gallardos Leisure and the Almería Lawn Bowling Centre are all owned and operated by ARK 90 s.l., a limited company setup in Spain with company registration number (CIF) B-04122974. We are registered by the Junta de Andalucía’s ministry of tourism with inscription number AL-4-04-0017.

What products and services are sold through this website

We sell the following services through this website:

    • Physical stays at our resort
    • Restaurant tickets and reservations at our resort
    • Value added services to the above (such as BBQ rental, premium seating, etc) which can only be used during your visit to our resort

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When you contact us through our standard contact form

We collect information about you in order to deal with your enquiry. This includes, but may not be limited to:

  •  Your name.
  • Contact details (email and telephone number).
  • You may also be asked about your intended vacation plans.
  • Your enquiry and any generic text you enter.
When you make a booking

We collect information about you in order to deal with your enquiry and prepare for your stay. This includes, but may not be limited to:

  • Your name, and the names of others in your party.
  • The filial connections between members of your party.
  • Aggregate ages of members of your party.
  • Your contact details (email and telephone number).
  • You will also be asked about your intended vacation plans, which may include flight information and shuttle bus services to and from the site.
  • Your enquiry and any generic text you enter.
  • Information upon your health, such as allergies or physical disabilities, which are necessary in order to prepare for your stay.

When you book at the restaurant

We collect information about you in order to prepare for your visit. This information includes, but may not be limited to:

  • Your name and the names of others in your party.
  • Any allergies which our kitchen should be aware of.
  • Any special requests which you make.
  • Your contact details (email and telephone number).

COVID Codicile for 2020: Although not currently required by law, we are voluntarily maintaining restaurant guest lists which comprise: Number of people per table, master guest name and master telephone number. This information is kept in paper format for up to two months and will be passed to the Health Authorities in the case that Covid guest tracing is required.  The information will then be destroyed. If you do not wish to appear on this list then please specify this at the moment of booking, or contact us at a later date. You have the right to eliminate or modify your information held by us at any time.

When you join our newsletter

Your email address is added to our bulk mail server and you receive marketing emails intended to keep you up to date with forthcoming events we are organising, and other information we feel may be of interest to you.

You have the right to remove yourself from the list at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link included in all emails or visiting the newsletter unsubscribe webpage.

Your information will never be passed onto any third party. We may include third party offerings in our newsletter, but they will be indicated as such and your personal data will not be revealed. We may track opening statistics to see response rates.

When you join our Camping ClubCard scheme

We collect information about you in order to manage your account. The Camping ClubCard is a loyalty scheme where you accumulate points during purchases which can be redeemed at a future date. For more on joining this scheme, see the dedicated website.

In order to manage your account, we keep on record your full name, contact details, address and personalised records on your purchasing history with us, which is necessary to verify the accuracy of your points balance.

Information gathered in this scheme may be shared with trusted third parties when our rewards scheme extends to encompass offerings by them. We are not currently running any such scheme.

How the information is stored

If you contact us using one of our forms, your entered data will be stored on our server to help us answer your questions as quickly as possible. A brief summary of your enquiry may be saved on servers run by Google. None of your entered data will be sold to other parties.

If you make a reservation, your information is stored on our servers until the booking is complete. It is then aggregated to information collected at the point of registration when you arrive at the site in order to maintain records for accountancy and statistical purposes.

In order to comply with our legal requirements under Spanish law regulating the need to keep accurate statistics we keep your generic booking information on file for two years after your booking is complete.

Generic enquiries through our website are retained in our secure server for future reference, and periodically deleted with no set period for these deletions.

If you are purchasing tickets or making a restaurant reservation we keep your details on file until the reservation has been completed. We may issue a factura de servicios which will have your details on; this information will be kept for as long as the law on record retention requires.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service called Akismet. No personally identifiable information is sent to them.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can rectify or oppose any information we have on file for you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To access your personal data please either use the online tools we have provided for this purpose, or write to us at lopd@campinglosgallardos.com including proof of identity.
