The Vera and District Lions Club held an immensely popular Christmas Fair at Miraflores this December 13th 2013.
The fair attracted great interest from across the area, and stall holders presented their wares to several hundred people who made their ways to Miraflores at Camping Los Gallardos. Many of them stayed to enjoy the Fish and Chips afterwards!
Marion Anderson of the Vera & District Lions told us that:
I am writing on behalf of everyone at Vera and District Lions Club to thank you and all your staff for helping make our market today such a success.
Miraflores was an excellent setting for this event, many of the stall-holders and customers commented on the lovely friendly atmosphere, and we are extremely grateful to you for allowing us the use of your venue. Please also extend our thanks to all your staff who worked tirelessly throughout the day, serving both our stall-holders and customers with endless cups of coffee and mulled wine.
I am delighted to say that the Lions raised just over 450.00€ for our charities, which was an absolutely brilliant total and we thank you for your donation from the Fish and Chip lunches which contributed to this total.
We hope you and everyone at Camping Los Gallardos have a very Happy Christmas and wish you all the best for the New Year, and we hope that Vera and District Lions and Camping Los Gallardos can work together again in 2014.
