The All Aloud Community Choir, a group meeting in Arboleas and serving the Almanzora area, is dedicated to raising funds for the Children’s Ward at the hospital in Huercal Overa, focusing on children aged 2 to 17 from all backgrounds. The funds raised in 2024 will support this department, which is in dire need of educational items and toys for the young patients, as it only receives €100 annually.
Miraflores, a large bar and restaurant at Camping Los Gallardos Leisure, plays a pivotal role in this fundraising effort. Morag Mitchell, a member of All Aloud, along with a group of friends, visitors, and the bar staff at Miraflores, have already collected over €600 towards the charity. This sum will go a long way toward providing the educational resources and toys that the Children’s Ward desperately needs to support the children’s learning and playtime.
