Due to an increase in the tax levied on our water bills, we have been forced to increase the price of our water for the first time in several years.
Whilst the base cost of the water supplied to the site by GALASA has not changed, a levy charged by the regional government to finance water improvements in the area has gone up this month. The levy is charged per unit (m3) of water and so we must pass on the increased tax rate to our customers.
Therefore, as from this month, a unit of water (one cubic metre) will cost €1.80, up 10 cents from the previous price.
